Greg Fordham is the Founder of Celestial Defense in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a very knowledgeable expert and consultant in the field of federal government contracts. For more than 30 years he has provided contractors, their counsel, and even the government itself on a few occasions, with ingenious solutions to difficult government contract compliance problems and disputed issues, including ancillary disciplines like purchasing, accounting, estimating and manufacturing..

Some of his projects have involved bet the company type cases where the stakes were high and a lot of money was on the line. Other projects were highly contested disputes where those leading the opposition were industry leaders in national firms that were not so special after all. Still others involved clever manipulations whose treachery had to be uncovered and realized before they could be overcome. Of course, many were simply the result of ingenious solutions developed through exceptionally effective critical thinking facilitated by highly skilled expertise, seasoned experience, and diligent shepherding of a client's interests to a favorable outcome.

While most of Greg's projects have been resolved without litigation, he has been selected as an expert when the litigation route was pursued. In fact, he has been accepted as an expert in various Federal and State courts, arbitration forums, and Boards of Contract Appeal. He has successfully supported his opinions more than 30 times in depositions, pre-trial hearings and at trial. He has even served as the government’s expert in some high-profile, large dollar false claims cases in opposition of some of the nation's top white collar crime defense firms.. (see, Description of Selected Engagements to learn about some of Greg's projects)

Since 2001 Greg has been able to apply the computer forensic skills he developed for his government contract projects on over 500 projects unrelated to government contracts but involving incident response and the examination of personal computers, network servers, cellphones and other electronic devices in projects like:

  • data breach and network intrusion,
  • misappropriation of trade secrets,
  • bankruptcy,
  • some criminal cases and
  • various labor related issues like harassment and discrimination.

For the last several years he has earned the distinguished faculty badge presented by Lorman Education Services to those faculty members receiving good evaluations from seminar attendees.
